Commencement information can be found at https://commencement.calpoly.edu/graduates . Once your application to graduate form has been received and processed you are assigned a ceremony. Check your PolyProfile for an “expected graduation” date. That is the date used to automatically assign the ceremony. Students graduating in Summer are assigned the prior Spring (e.g, Summer 2021 graduates are assigned to walk in Spring 2021).

There is also a form at the commencement link to request a different ceremony. You can use this to walk twice (e.g., walk once for finishing your BS requirements and again for your MS requirements) or just to pick a ceremony that works best for your schedule. The form has a deadline during the 2nd week of Spring if you want your name in the graduation program. If you miss that deadline you can still walk but your name will not appear.
